Our core directors have significant commercial experience in sales and marketing and business development and are now looking to expand the range of services we offer on a nationwide basis.
Much of the early work was based around gaining grant funding to enhance the business activities in some way. For example with the Salcombe Harbour Authority we completed 4 projects which were
Revision of the salcombe Harbour Guide and the environmental enhancement of this document.
Changes and additions to the Salcombe Harbour Website
A Novel waste recycling scheme for on water users in Salcombe
An audit of the signage and interpretation around the estuary and the funding and delivery of the project thereafter.
Core activities 2007/8
Stirling will focus on the development of 4 core areas of the business:

Implementation of a Maritime Waste Recycling scheme
Grant funding activities for businesses
Business development services including business planning and interim management services.

David Newman the founder has been involved in sales and marketing and business development since 1979. Having worked in the insurance sector, leisure and marine and IT industries he has a broad spread of skills to bring to the business.
The desire here was to create a business which would in 5 years time have a strong brand identity through the production of Harbour and Destination guides, be well respected within our sector as a niche player and to be known for providing a quality service which actually makes a difference in peoples businesses.
We envisage a situation where we may well have 3 regional offices within 5 years employing some 5 consultants and 10 staff in total.
Stephen Tooke our first consultant has considerable experience within the Ports and Harbours sector having recently left salcombe Harbour as Harbour Master. Prior to this he was involved with the Hong Kong Police in maritime affairs such as anti drug and anti smuggling divisions.
Stephens strong background as a known character within the UK ports industry opens doors for us and to date he is proving very successful at getting us into new areas.
